![]() ![]() ![]() It features a digital rendition of the mod on the front, but it really doesn’t do it justice at all. The Vmate mod comes in a fairy bland-looking cardboard box. In this review, we’ll be taking a look exclusively at the Vmate 200W mod, but we’ll also be doing a review of the VooPoo Uforce T1 in the very near future. The VooPoo Vmate comes both as a standalone mod, and as a kit, featuring the Uforce T1 sub-ohm tank. Let’s check it out: A Look at the Contents Neither the Alpha One nor the VooPoo Too could challenge the Drag’s dominance, so the Chinese manufacturer went back to the drawing board and came up with the VooPoo Vmate – a dual-battery vape mod powered by the same fantastic Gene Chip as the Drag, but featuring a completely new, much slicker design. That’s quite an achievement in this fast-moving industry, but VooPoo has been really struggling to keep the momentum going. The Drag 3 is an excellent new version of an existing device, with upgrades that make it more versatile than most kits on the market. The VooPoo Drag 157W box mod is still one of the world’s best selling vaping devices, almost two years after its original launch. The pod is held in with strong magnets that mean it won't easily be displaced, even when kept in your pocket or bag during the day. It's easily filled via the included bottom fill port, and coils are the plug-and-pull style with seals all the way around to minimise the possibility of leakage. The TPP Pod Tank also has a huge capacity, holding 5.5mL of e-liquid for all-day vaping. This makes the kit and system truly versatile, with something for everyone. The PnP pod tank, should you have one and choose to use it, has a variety of coils available that run from 10 watts all the way up to 80 watts. The TPP Pod Tank comes with two coils - a 0.2 ohm TPP-DM2 that runs between 40 and 60 watts, and a 0.15 ohm TPP-DM1 that runs at a higher 60 to 80 watts. You can also remove the 510 connector and put any regular mouth-to-lung or sub-ohm tank on the device. This is connected to the Drag 3 mod via a threaded 510 base, and this base is compatible with the existing PnP pod tank that comes with the Drag S and Drag X pod kits - just pull out the TPP pod that comes with the kit and put in your PnP pod. ![]() The Drag 3 mod comes paired here with the TPP Pod Tank, which features replaceable coils. The body is built with zinc alloy and covered on its side with leather in various different colours, which makes it comfortable to hold. It is similar in design to its predecessors, featuring a large colour screen that shows all of the information required: wattage, voltage, mode, puff counter and timer, and battery capacity. As always with dual battery mods, while on-board charging is possible it is advised that external charging be used instead. The Drag 3 mod runs on two 18650 batteries (SOLD SEPARATELY) and outputs up to 177 watts of power. It utilises their popular pod-style 510-threaded tank, with coils that give great flavour and are capable of both direct lung and restricted mouth-to-lung inhales. The Voopoo Drag 3 is a brand new version of the long-running Drag series of high-powered mods from one of the vape industry's premier manufacturers. ![]()
